Job Purpose

The Research & Development Specialist role is responsible for designing and developing content, learning experiences, innovating support materials and products, based on Educate Me School Model, scientific framework, and in alignment with EM TOC. 

The main goal is to design a learning experience including core knowledge, skills, and competencies regarding the learner's needs, their roles, and their responsibilities, in an effective and appealing manner.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Apply ADDIE model to develop learning experiences journey and programs. ∙ Submit researches and design evidence-based interventions programs. ∙ Analyze the learners' needs and the organizational goals. 
  • Transform knowledge into activities. 
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods in designing  content. 
  • Create or Use supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays,  games etc.) 
  • Develop manuals, handouts, training package in alignment with EM standards of  quality. 
  • Design assessments and measuring tools to assess the impact of learning delivered. ∙ Adopt new technology integration within content design and delivery framework. ∙ Capable of deliver TOT for each designed programs. 
  • Extract the best practices after implementing the programs. 
  • Attend to weekly team meetings, monthly staff meetings, annual team retreat and  team bonding days. 
  • Ensure all data & documents are uploaded on EM Drive in a timely manner ∙ Filling and Submitting needed direct reports.  
  • Copy write of the EM products and Capacity building programs.


Qualifications Include

Education: 

  • BS or MA degree in Education or similar. 

Specialized knowledge:  

  • Curricula design methodology – Programs development process – Integrating technology into education approaches. 
  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology tools. 
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design theories and models.

Working Conditions:
Location/ Physical Mobility:
o The work location is at HQ at Maadi and it might require making field visits for
Trainings Delivery.
o Full Time hours/week
