“Capacity Building to Enhance the Efficiency of Public Financial Management and Governance through Financial Transparency and Public Participation in Budget Preparation”

Educate Me Foundation takes pride in contributing to national efforts aimed at achieving accountability through greater financial transparency and enhancing community engagement, serving the aspirations of sustainable development and discussing the role of civil society in budget preparation.

So we are delighted to Eng. Christine Safwat participated in the workshop titled “Capacity Building to Enhance the Efficiency of Public Financial Management and Governance through Financial Transparency and Public Participation in Budget Preparation” held in the presence of the Minister of Finance.

The workshop was organized in collaboration with the International Budget Partnership (IBP) and Decode Financial and Economic Consulting, as part of the “Cooperation for a Participatory and Accountable Budget” project.

The workshop aims to promote a participatory approach in preparing and monitoring the state budget, in accordance with the Open Budget Survey standards issued by the International Budget Partnership.
