Our TARL Experience
It was an honor for Educate Me to participate in a workshop on enhancing Arabic Literacy, organized by Ministry of education and technical education and World Bank
The workshop day one included knowledge sharing and technical discussions around research and practical national examples to enhance quality of teaching and learning, where Educate Me Executive Director, eng/Christine Safwat, presented our successful experience in bringing an evidence based program, Teaching at the Right level (TARL), contextualizing it and implementing it with over 8000 public schools and community schools evidence on its effectiveness in enhancing students literacy skills.
Day two focused on bringing together relevant stakeholders consisting of the ministry officials and policy makers, the leadership and heads of departments alongside the Civil Society Organizations to work in groups producing a short and medium term implementation plan to improve students’ literacy.
