Because education is the one investment that has the highest return on the individual and the community. Investing in education has a direct impact on enhanced economic conditions and better health. The long-term benefits of supporting education include increased life earnings for every year of primary school completed, improved skills for the workforce, and increased productivity as well as increased gender parity.
